Variable Area High Pressure In-Line Flow Meters

Variable Area EZ-View® In-Line Flow Meters

Featuring Hedland's unique spring loaded variable area design. EZ-View® meters can be installed quickly without costly flow straighteners or other special plumbing requirements. These meters operate within ± 5% accuracy and are constructed of Polysulfone plastic. Available port sizes range from 1/2" to 3" with a choice of brass, T303 stainless steel or PVC fittings. Optional Flow-Alert Flow Switch modules automatically signal alarms if flow is too high or too low. The switch options include AC and DC latching switch modules or a reed switch module.

Ultrasonic Transit Time

The Hedland HTTF Ultrasonic Transit Time Flow Meters clamp onto the outside of existing piping and do not contact the internal liquid. This advanced product provides instantaneous rate and accumulated flows along with 4-20 mA and pulse outputs. These non-invasive, compact meters were designed to replace mechanical flow meters in applications where liquid conditions tend to damage or impede mechanical flow meter operation.

Turbine Flow Meters (Water/Water-Based Fluids)

The Model 1100 Turbine Flow Meter is standard with a magnetic pick-up which produces a frequency output that is proportional to its volumetric flow rate. When paired with the HB2800 Flow Monitor, this compact system offers local indication of both flow rate and total flow. For further flexibility, Hedland offers electronic options which convert the frequency output to an analog signal for easy electronic integration with most instruments, PLCs, and computers.

Pressure Indicators

The Vista-Gage is a unique piston-type pressure indicator specifically designed to withstand machine vibration, shock, pulsation, pressure surges and other rigorous conditions that create problems for conventional pressure gauges with fragile bourdon tube mechanisms.

The Vista-Gage is easy to install and requires little start-up cost. It can operate in any position, vertically or horizontally, and provides users with full, 360° readability.

Portable Hydraulic Testers

Flo-tech portable testers have long been the leaders in state-of the-art testing equipment. Offered in three models, in a variety of sizes, the compact testers are designed for fast, diagnostic troubleshooting of both mobile and stationary hydraulic systems and components. Flo-tech offers pressure and temperature transducers with compatible readouts to complete your hydraulic measurement package. In most cases if you have a Flo-tech turbine, the temperature and pressure functions can be added by simply installing the transducers in the turbine meter body.
